WATCH: Pupils from one County Kildare school give their verdict on the Ploughing
No homework for fifth class pupils from Scoil Bhríde, Milltown
Fifth class pupils from Scoil Bhríde, Milltown in County Kildare won't have any homework this Tuesday evening after they attended the first day of the National Ploughing Championships in County Laois.
There is barely a wellie in sight at Rathineska as the massive crowds are enjoying the glorious weather as Ireland experiences an Indian summer.
Given the sunny conditions and the warm temperatures, the total attendance at this year's event could exceed 300,000 by the end of the three days.
During their encounter with our reporter Greg Mulhall, one pupil from Scoil Bhríde, Peader, was asked to describe The Ploughing in three words - watch the video to see his answer!
