A man who was caught trespassing at training centre was aggressive towards the site’s manager, according to gardaí present in Naas District Court.
Gardaí made the comments to Judge Desmond Zaidan on Thursday, January 25 last, in relation to one Vitaly Rumyantsev, with addresses listed as River View Apartments in Naas and Moorefield Crescent in Newbridge.
The judge was told that at around 3am on December 11, 2022, the 26-year-old had trespassed onto the grounds of the Racing Academy and Centre of Education (RACE) training centre in Kildare town.
He was met by security personnel working on the site.
Gardaí also said that a physical altercation subsequently ensued between Mr Rumyantsev and the site's manager, although no injuries were reported.
He was also being prosecuted for driving with no insurance or a driving licence in Kildare town on the day before the incident (December 10, 2022).
Mr Rumyantsev pleaded guilty to the offences.
Judge Zaidan accepted jurisdiction over the case and adjourned it for sentencing to May 16.
