A total of €31,750 is being given out to various Tidy Towns groups in the Naas area. Most of the money (€14,500) goes to Naas Tidy Town followed by Sallins (€10,213); Kill (€2,955); Johnstown (€1,818) with Ballymore Eustace and Eadestown getting €1,136 each.
Meanwhile, some €4,320 is earmarked for cemetery or graveyard maintenance, also in the Naas area, at Bodenstown, Oughterard, Rathmore, Kill, Maudlins (Naas) and Eadestown - with Bodenstown getting most (€1,070).
