The Naas Roads Policing Unit clocked several drivers over the limit

Gardaí in Kildare have responded to several complaints about the L2019 Rathgorragh Kill road, in which motorists have been known to consistently break speed laws, leaving the community fearful of road accidents.

The Naas Roads Policing Unit performed speed checks in the area this week and clocked drivers doing well over the limits in the 60 km/h zone, with one motorist driving a whopping 104 km/h.

In a post on Facebook, Kildare Gardaí said,

"Responding to public complaints - The Nass Roads Policing Unit performed Speed Checks on the L2019 Rathgorragh Kill. FCPNS €160 and 3 penalty points issued to all.

"We will continue to monitor speeds at this location do please slow down."
