A woman who told Naas District Court she was afraid of her husband was granted a protection order.
She claimed that the man said he would “get my blood wasted all over the floor".

She further claimed she is in fear of him.
The court heard that after the man, who is originally from Africa, was arrested at an address in west Kildare at 10.40pm on January 22 and the allegation was put to him he replied “it’s all lies.”
Solicitor Joe Coonan said the man was prepared to live at another address in London, which he provided to the court. He said the man would be living with his brother.
Judge Desmond Zaidan granted free legal aid and adjourned the matter to May 22.
