An animal charity based in Athgarvan has issued an important update regarding its fundraiser in Punchestown.
The Kildare and West-Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (KWWSPCA) was originally set to have its Easter Egg Hunt and Dog Walk today (Good Friday, April 18).
However, the group has had to reschedule the event to tomorrow (Saturday, April 19) due to poor weather.
The KWWSPCA explained in an online statement: "The Easter Egg Hunt and Dog Walk will now be held on Saturday, April 19, as the forecast is for very wet, cold and windy weather for Friday.
"Saturday afternoon is, at the moment, forecast to be dry.
"2pm to 4pm for the Egg Hunt and 3pm for the Dog Walk around the course."
"Loads of free Easter eggs for all the children! Call 087 680 3295 or 085 235 4939 if you want to check with us," the KWWSPCA concluded.
