Woman  was 'forced out of house because of husband's behaviour' - Kildare court claim

A woman told Naas District Court that her husband’s behaviour had forced her out of the house the night before.

She came to the court seeking protection under family law legislation.

The woman told the court that the man was verbally abusive and was shouting, screaming and banging doors.

The man was not present or represented.

She said it has been going on for 30 years and replying to a question from Judge Desmond Zaidan, she said she does not drink.

Judge Zaidan commented that the man needs help and granted an interim protection order, adjourning the matter to April 13.
