Anabolic steroid using man damaged his ex-wife's property - Kildare court claim

Woman also alleged she changed locks

A male body builder, who allegedly uses anabolic steroids, has damaged interior doors in the property where his ex wife lives.

This was the allegation made by the woman at a family law hearing at Naas District Court.

The woman also claimed she is “under threat emotionally” and the man is being very manipulative.

“It started two years ago,” she said adding, he has difficulty managing his emotions and this has worsened since he started taking steroids.

The woman said the relationship broke down due to adultery. She added she had bought him out of the house and his behaviour is erratic.

She also claimed that he had arrived at the residence at 3am.

Because of a fear for her safety, she changed the locks, she claimed.

She asked the man, who was not present or represented, to leave her alone.

“I’m trying to move on with my life,” she told the court.

Judge Desmond Zaidan adjourned the matter to June 22, after granting an interim protection order.
