Gardaí told Judge Desmond Zaidan about the incident on Thursday, September 14 last.

It was heard that on April 3, 2018 at a property in County Kildare, Joe Conlon, with an address listed as 14 Cedarwood Park in Newbridge, attempted to punch a woman multiple times.

However, gardaí said that the 43-year-old was 'so intoxicated that none of the punches landed.'
