The luck of the Irish- Irish prizewinner scoops €66 million in Euromillions

The hunt is on for Ireland's latest multi-millionaire after it was revealed that an Irish ticket was one of the winners of last night's massive Euromillions jackpot.

The winner will split the prize with someone from France, who will also be the recipient of €66,188,316, half of the €132 million jackpot. There are no indications as of yet as to where about in Ireland the ticket was sold.

Winners of the Euromillions are not obliged to go public but they will have to bring their winning ticket to the National Lottery Headquarters in Dublin so it can be validated.

Two other Irish ticket holders scooped lesser prizes of €4,209 each as they matched four numbers along with two Lucky Stars.
