It is estimated that the signs will be installed in the coming weeks
Kildare County Council (KCC) has asserted that brand-new signs are on the way for one County Kildare town.
The announcement was heard at the latest Clane-Maynooth Municipal District meeting, which took place on Friday, September 4 last.
The matter was initially raised by Social Democrats councillor Paula Mulroe, when she submitted the following question to KCC: “Can KCC provide an update on when the signage review and replacement of town signs in Prosperous will take place?”
In response, KCC told her: “A review of existing signage in Prosperous has taken place and the required signs have been ordered.”
“It is envisaged these signs will be installed in the coming weeks,” KCC added.
