Co Kildare pharmacy worker nominated for national award

Mangan’s Pharmacy worker Anita Meenehan has been selected as finalist in this year’s Irish Pharmacy Awards 2017.

Mangan's Pharmacy, Station Road, Newbridge opened in 2013 and is co-located with the large primary care centre, Newbridge Medical & Dental.

The Counter Assistant of the Year Award recognises excellence in knowledge and service to retail customers.

The awards will take place in the Burlington hotel on May 20th. Anita has been selected as one of the six finalists in these national awards.

The Irish Pharmacy Awards attract a total of 600+ pharmacists, pharmacy staff, leading members of pharmacy academia and representatives from the pharmaceutical sector.

She is also responsible for the customer service standards within the Pharmacy.
