Co Kildare road will be closed for almost 2 weeks due to laying of new water main

Irish Water will be laying a new water main later this month leading to a road closure.

Kildare County Council on behalf of Irish Water will be closing the Lourdesville Road at its junction with Chapel Hill(L-70141) and Station Road (R415).

The road will be closed from Monday, July 16, until Friday, July 27.

 Traffic will be diverted via Chapel Lane (L-70141), Shraud Road (R401) and Station Road (R415).

Diversionary routes, will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
