Martin (Murt) Brennan

The death has occurred of Martin (Murt) Brennan, 65 Castle Park, Athy, Kildare, R14 AK40.

Predeceased by his parents Martin and Bridget and his brother John Paul.

Deeply regretted by his loving fiancée Pamela, children Tori, Taylor, BooBoo John and Bailey, brothers Anthony, Tim, Joe and Michael, mother-in-law Phyllis, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his residence (R14 AK40) on Tuesday evening (November 18) from 5pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm.

Removal at 12.30pm on Wednesday afternoon (November 19) to arrive at St. Michael's Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 1pm, see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie

Burial afterwards in St. Michael's New Cemetery, Athy.

Maureen Keatley (née Flood)

The death has occurred of Maureen Keatley (née Flood), Boakefield House, Ballitore, Kildare.

Maureen Keatley, Boakefield House, Ballitore on Sunday, peacefully November 16 at Silverstream Nursing Home Dunlavin.

Surrounded by her loving Family in her 99th Year.

Predeceased by her husband Patrick, Baby Son, Sister Sheila, Brothers Tim and John.

Maureen will be sadly missed by her Daughters Patricia and Deirdre, Sons Willie, Patrick, Dominic and John. Grandchildren Louise, Helen, David, Michaela, Sarah, Olivia, Alison, Rachael and Orla. Great Grand Children Pia and Tadgh, Daughters in law, Sons in law, Nieces and Nephews, Relatives, Friends and Neighbours.

Reposing at her Family home (R14 RK03) on Tuesday November 18 from 1pm Concluding with prayers at 7.30pm.

Removal by Leigh's Funeral Directors on Wednesday Morning to the Church of Ss Mary and Laurence, Crookstown for Funeral Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Patrick Lynam

The death has occurred of Patrick Lynam, Brussels, Belgium and formerly of St Mary’s Park, Leixlip, Kildare.

Patrick Lynam passed away unexpectedly, on 15 November 2025, in the company of his loving family and in the exceptional care of St. Luc University Clinic, Brussels.

He is lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife, Sheila; his adored children, Shane and Eibhlinn, their respective partners Monika and Sam; and his cherished grandchildren, Milo, Luna, Stella and Faye.

Predeceased by his beloved parents, Patsy and Brigid, Patrick will be deeply missed by his sisters, Marie and Valerie, his brother, Tony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and extended family.

He will also be fondly remembered throughout his wide circle of friends in Ireland, Belgium and France, where he lived and worked throughout his long and full career.

The funeral service will take place at St. Anthony’s Parish Church, Kraainem, Belgium, at 11am on Thursday, 20 November 2025.

John (Sean) O'Brien

The death has occurred of John (Sean) O'Brien, Mount Carmel, Newbridge, Kildare / Ballintogher, Sligo.

John (Sean) O' Brien, Mount Carmel, Newbridge, Co. Kildare & late of Lavally, Ballintogher, Co. Sligo - November 16 2025 (peacefully) at his home with his loving family by his side.

Predeceased by his loving wife Evelyn (Lyn), brothers Paddy-Joe, Tommy and Eugene.

Sadly missed by his loving sons and daughters Delia, David, John and Theresa, son-in-law and daughters-in-law Patricia, Carmel and Philip, grandchildren Denise, Geraldine, Sean, C.J., Maeveann, Evelyn, Heather, David, Padraig, Conor, Cian, Sive and Hugh, great-grandchildren Ben, Lennán, Radha, Jamie, C.J., Max, Méabh, Cuan and Bodhi, sisters Bridget and Mary, brother Jerry, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy's Funeral Home, Henry Street, Newbridge on Tuesday from 4pm with prayers at 7pm.

Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to arrive at the Dominican College Church, Newbridge for Mass at 11am.

Ned Conway

The death has occurred of Ned Conway, 8 Woodstock Street, Athy, Kildare.

Peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of St. Vincent's Hospital, Athy. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Helen. Deeply regretted by his loving sister Mary, brother-in-law Harry, nephews Harry and John, niece Mary, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.
