Plans for almost 400 new homes in Newbridge

Plans for 385 new houses for Newbridge have been lodged with Kildare County Council.

The proposed development is for Rickardstown and Roseberry areas of the town.

The development, if approved, includes:

• 327 two-storey three/four bed houses
• 24 one and two bed apartments
• 24 two and three bed units,
• six two-storey two-bed townhouses
• four three-storey three-bed townhouses

The proposed development also includes a crèche and and landscaping.

The new homes are earmarked for a site measuring 13.1 hectares which will be accessed from Station Road and via Roseberry Hill.
